Single Session Counselling
What is single session counselling?
Essentially , it's what it says - booking a single session for a particular purpose rather than undertaking a number of sessions to explore issues or change behaviours. It's often more solution focused and aimed at getting to a point of resolution/action by the end of the session.
What kinds of topics might single session counselling be useful for?
It could be that you have an important decision to make and you just want to run your decision making process by a third party to ensure that you have covered all the bases of things that are important to you.
It may be that you have had a difficult conversation at work and you want to talk through your feelings and/or options with someone who isn't involved.
You may have completed a course of therapy at a previous date but are feeling in need of a "top-up" session to refresh your resolve and motivation.
You may just want to talk to somebody about a sensitive issue which you need to communicate to another person but you just don't know how to go about it.
You might feel you need a "pep talk" to retain clarity and focus in preparation for an interview.
These are just a few instances where single session counselling may be useful.
What is the cost?
The cost is £60 for a 50 minute session.
